SupÂportÂing a robust annuÂal calÂenÂdar of pubÂlic, tickÂetÂed and priÂvate events, the DirecÂtor of Events and PubÂlic ProÂgrams is responÂsiÂble for the sucÂcessÂful marÂketÂing, sales and exeÂcuÂtion of events on the Island, includÂing but not limÂitÂed to tickÂetÂed and non-tickÂetÂed pubÂlic events, fesÂtiÂvals, film shoots and priÂvate events.
The DirecÂtor of HorÂtiÂculÂture will be responÂsiÂble for all aspects of manÂageÂment and long-term care of GovÂerÂnors Island’s diverse garÂdens. The DirecÂtor will shape open space manÂageÂment proÂtoÂcols and lead a proÂfesÂsionÂal horÂtiÂculÂture team.
The Project ManÂagÂer will overÂsee a range of capÂiÂtal projects through all stages of planÂning, design, and conÂstrucÂtion at a time of sigÂnifÂiÂcant growth on GovÂerÂnors Island, ensurÂing that projects proÂceed in coorÂdiÂnaÂtion with availÂable fundÂing sources, the Island’s operÂaÂtional needs, and short-term and long-term develÂopÂment plans.
The seaÂsonÂal DigÂiÂtal ComÂmuÂniÂcaÂtions AssoÂciate will work withÂin the PubÂlic Affairs team to supÂport efforts to engage a diverse audiÂence of New YorkÂers durÂing the Island’s busiest seaÂson, with a focus on digÂiÂtal comÂmuÂniÂcaÂtions tools.
The seaÂsonÂal CorÂpoÂrate VolÂunÂteer AssoÂciate will assist with planÂning and coorÂdiÂnaÂtion of group volÂunÂteer projects on GovÂerÂnors Island for the 2026 peak season.
The SeaÂsonÂal GarÂdenÂer cares for plantÂed areas through horÂtiÂculÂturÂal tasks such as plantÂiÂng, weedÂing, mulching and waterÂing, and uses equipÂment such as mowÂers, hedge trimÂmers and weed whips. This posiÂtion is ideÂal for someÂone new to the horÂtiÂculÂture field who has a demonÂstratÂed interÂest in native plants and ornaÂmenÂtal gardening.
The ³Ò°ù´Ç³Ü²Ô»å²õ°ì±ð±ð±è±ð°ù is responÂsiÂble for proÂvidÂing daiÂly hands-on work that conÂtributes to keepÂing the Island, open spaces, and strucÂtures throughÂout the Island in a clean and safe conÂdiÂtion for all Island visitors.
