Gov­er­nors Island is home to a grow­ing com­mu­ni­ty of year-round edu­ca­tion­al, non-prof­it, and com­mer­cial ten­ants, as well as dozens of sea­son­al ameni­ties and arts, cul­tur­al, envi­ron­men­tal, and edu­ca­tion­al part­ners. Togeth­er, they com­prise a com­mu­ni­ty of hun­dreds of employ­ees, researchers, artists, and stu­dents who com­mute to Gov­er­nors Island on a dai­ly basis.
