Tree & Bird Tour — 2PM

Join the Trust for Gov­er­nors Island’s arborist and the New York City Bird Alliance for a tour of the Island’s 3,000+ trees. Peep the daz­zling fall foliage and learn about the rela­tion­ships between native and migra­to­ry birds and the trees they depend on for for­age and habi­tat. Reg­is­tra­tion is high­ly encour­aged to attend. Please dress with the weath­er in mind.

City of For­est Day is a day of activ­i­ties across the city to raise aware­ness of the impor­tance of the New York City urban for­est and the For­est for All ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ coali­tion, of which Gov­er­nors Island is a member.
